Almost a week after the ball dropped on New Year's Eve, things are just about back to normal. The tree's no more than a few dry needles lurking in the carpet, photo cards have been recycled, and Off the Grid is poised to return to the streets of San Francisco. OTG's first outing back after the holiday break is lunch tomorrow in Civic Center, with Ebbetts Good to Go, Curry Up Now, Liba Falafel, CupKates, and Hapa SF.

Then on Saturday, OTG returns to McCoppin Hub with a new look and extended hours (brunch, lunch, and dinner, with food served continuously all day). Look for Eat Curbside (10 a.m.-9 p.m.), El Norteño (10 a.m.-2 p.m.), Seoul on Wheels (12:30-5:30 p.m.), Hapa SF (12:30-5:30 p.m.), 3-Sum Eats: (4:30-9 p.m.), and inside 105 Valencia, Creme Brulee Cart (6-8 p.m.). Plus beer, wine, toilets, and shelter at 105 Valencia, 3:30-9 p.m.

Off the Grid: Civic Center: Fri., Jan. 7, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Off the Grid: McCoppin Hub: Sat., Jan. 8, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
