Señor Sisig at Som Bar

Where: Truck will park in front of Som, 2925 16th St. (at South Van Ness), 9 p.m.-3 a.m.

Why it's likely to be special: It's axiomatic ― drunk people need tacos, especially tacos filled with salty sisig. Even if you're not locked down for the Distortion 2 Static party inside Som (DJs Prince Aries, Wonway Posibul, Haylow, Drewbyrd, etc.), you'll be hammered, which means you'll want tacos, never more than in that desperate crucial hour between 2 and 3 a.m.

Menu highlights: Sisig, sisig, sisig: tacos ($2.50); burrito with adobo rice ($6.50); fries or nachos ($6.50); rice plate ($6); go all silog (i.e., add a fried egg to anything on the menu) for an extra buck

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
