Now that Mad Men has whipped everyone into a retro frenzy, it makes sense that a restaurant would try to update the cuisine of the 1950s and '60s. Thermidor's Bruce Binn and Neil Jorgensen took on that challenge, with mixed results. The playful image below is of mini doughnuts served with a candy cigarette and coffee ice cream (from pastry chef Kyle Caporicci, who's since moved on from Thermidor).
