The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the San Francisco restaurant scene.

According to Inside Scoop, Sean O'Toole, departing Bardessono chef, will become "chef and culinary director of kitchen operations" at Quince and Cotogna.

Good news: According to Grub Street, at the end of the Metreon's renovations, it's going to be a completely different place! Even more different from the last completely different place! Now there will be a Target on the second floor, and a suite of street-facing restaurants like Mixt Greens, La Boulange, Chipotle, and Brandy Ho's.

Grub Street also discovers news of a new pho shop near Cal: The Pho Bar (1828 Euclid).

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
