As the economy lingers in the can, the need for organizations such as Meals on Wheels (MOW) remains critical. MOW serves nearly 3 million meals each year to over 8,500 seniors. Many depend on MOW's hot meals as their primary source of daily nutrition and sustenance.

On Tuesday, you can help make sure MOW stays healthy by supporting a restaurant that's pledged to donate. On Nov. 9, over 80 local restaurants will donate proceeds directly to MOW, part of Bay Area Dine Out for Meals on Wheels. Commonwealth, Destino, 1300 on Fillmore, Fifth Floor, and Globe are among the S.F. eateries participating. Check out the full list on the Dine Out website, make a reservation, and be sure to let the restaurant know you're dining out for Meals on Wheels.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
