For some of you, the past four days have been a semi-sleepless blur of fake beards, bong hits, Halloween cupcakes, and crowds.

Keep the sweaty magic alive tonight at La Victoria at Outside In 8, framed this time with Day of the Dead sugar skulls and a soundtrack kicked in courtesy of DJs Santero and J-Boogie. Street food makes up the glowing heart of Outside In, of course. This time around it's PizzaHacker, Urban BBQ, Sataysfied, PieTISSERIE, Traveling Takoyaki, and Urban BBQ, among others, including organizer Roger Feely's Soul Cocina. Sanxe Loveji is breaking out the henna, and you're encouraged to wear a Dia de los Muertos costume ― should be a nice chance to get out of that red spangly thong that's threatened to become a permanent part of your lower anatomy. If that isn't the best part, maybe this is: It's all a benefit for a rooftop garden planned, someday, for La Victoria.

Outside In 8: Dia de los Muertos

When: Tonight, Nov. 2, 8 p.m.-1 a.m.

Where: La Victoria, 2937 24th St (at Alabama)

Cost: $6; $4 with costume

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
