Dogpatch Cafe Opens in, Well, Dogpatch

​The past 24 hours in gossip, innuendo, and cold hard facts about the

San Francisco restaurant scene.

Inside Scoop's Paolo L. learns that a business named Dogpatch Cafe (2295 Third St., 255-9982) replaces the Dogpatch Sundance Cafe that closed down suddenly last month. Bonus: architectural drawings from the architects of Piccino's new space, which is located nearby.
