Saucy Dumplings will teach you how to make your own.
Saturday's
Homegrown Marin Market is shifting to an earlier schedule, starting three hours earlier than the first two installments did. Cooking demonstrations will be a feature this time around: a solar cooking instructional in the back lot, plus
Saucy Dumplings, who tweak the Chinese standard with fillings like veggie curry and Peruvian lomo saltado, will share techniques for making dumplings at home, while
Faerie Goatmother will demo baked goat cheese. Expect copious amounts of sampling from vendors, and an overabundance of options.
Homegrown Marin Market
When: Sat., Sept. 18, noon-6 p.m.
Where: Studio 333, 333A Caledonia (at Litho), Sausalito
Cost: Sign the membership waiver in advance; $5 at the door
