Saturday's Homegrown Marin Market is shifting to an earlier schedule, starting three hours earlier than the first two installments did. Cooking demonstrations will be a feature this time around: a solar cooking instructional in the back lot, plus Saucy Dumplings, who tweak the Chinese standard with fillings like veggie curry and Peruvian lomo saltado, will share techniques for making dumplings at home, while Faerie Goatmother will demo baked goat cheese. Expect copious amounts of sampling from vendors, and an overabundance of options.

Homegrown Marin Market

When: Sat., Sept. 18, noon-6 p.m.

Where: Studio 333, 333A Caledonia (at Litho), Sausalito

Cost: Sign the membership waiver in advance; $5 at the door

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
