Bad news for next-door neighbor Bushi-Tei Bistro?
Good news for local ramen lovers: Suzu Noodle House, source of one of
SFoodie's 92 favorite eats ― and also
a preferred choice for many occasions ― has expanded its hours. Hopeful customers will no longer be turned away at 3 p.m. when lunch ends, and have to endure a two-hour wait till dinner starts (not to mention the unlucky few who'd show up unaware that Suzu was closed on Tuesdays). Over the weekend, Suzu posted its new hours: from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. We can almost hear the hallelujah cries of ramen worshipers. More chances to enjoy a bowl of Tokyo ramen, popular pea-shoot ramen, or spicy mabo ramen, though maybe not such great news for next-door neighbor
Bushi-Tei Bistro, which long seemed to benefit from Suzu's limited hours.
Suzu Noodle House: First floor, Miyako Mall, 1825 Post (at Webster), 346-5083.
