  • One week left to check Anthony Myint's Mission Street Food hotness.
If you've been meaning to check out Mission Street Food over the past year and a half, but have never made the time for it, just four editions of the popular pop-up remain (tonight, May 29, June 3, and June 5) before proprietor Anthony Myint focuses on opening the forthcoming full-time charitable restaurant Commonwealth.

Myint has hinted that Mission Street Food will eventually return after Commonwealth launches, but has been tight-lipped about the specifics (we've heard it might return one night a week, on Mondays, but nothing's confirmed). He also tweeted that tonight's event, which brings back the best dishes from its Homage Series over the past two months (when menus have been dedicated to the styles of international chefs such as Rene Redzepi, Michel Bras, Pascal Barbot, Inaki Aizpitarte, and QuiQue DaCosta), will be one of their all-time best. We're glad this isn't necessarily goodbye to Mission Street Food, but more like see you soon. Tonight's menu and further details after the jump.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
