As a daily windup to the Weekly's Best of S.F. 2010 on May 19, we've teased out 92 of our favorite local dishes that taste like here. All the tasty details after the jump.

Number 4: Zilla-Style Hot Dog from 4505 Meats In his April roundup of monster dogs, Jonathan Kauffman gave Ryan Farr's 4505 dog the ultimate in wiener praise: "It achieved the rare feat of tasting simultaneously like a real frankfurter and real meat." He was right ― Farr's team fabricates a hot dog with the perfect soft (but not mealy) texture and snap-skin casing, with a flavor that doesn't veer too far off a memory reference map cluttered with Oscar Mayers. And while the wiener itself might be a study in artisanal balance, the Zilla-style toppings (teriyaki-like sauce, Namu kimchi, 4505's cellulose-light chicharrones, and scallions) are an exercise of sheer overload ― in a good way. There's something about the bite of kimchi, the outside-the-lines sloppiness that reminds us of an old-fashioned chili dog, where pork rinds stand in for Fritos. The Zilla dog manages to be both edgy and comforting, flaunting a multicultural identity and microlocal approach to sourcing that feel authentically San Francisco. It's a hot dog that defines who we are, even as its remains are smeared on our chins. 4505 Meats Ferry Plaza Farmers' Market, North Arcade, 1 Ferry Building (at Embarcadero), Thursday and Saturday. Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
