AIDS/LifeCycle must have figured there's no juicier bait for donations than cheeseburgers. As a fundraiser for the group's S.F.-to-L.A. bike ride, old-school

Liverpool Lil's is offering a cheeseburger coupon for patrons who lay down $20 for five AIDS/LifeCycle raffle tickets. Prizes (wine magnums, swanky Giants seats, restaurant gift certificates, etc.) will be raffled next Tuesday, 6-9 p.m. Expect special drink pricing, then, too. Till then, retreat to the discreet darkness of Lil's, and let the barkeep know you'd like to pony up for the raffle. (Thanks to SF City Dish for the tip.)

Liverpool Lil's 2942 Lyon (at Lombard), 921-6644.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
