Cinco de Mayo, the day even fishbelly-pale Irish guys crave two-buck Tecates exactly like mom used to make. As a tribute ― and a guide to some of the best Mexican dishes in San Francisco (and slightly beyond) ― we've culled nine from our sprawling SFoodie's 92 project. That kicked off January 7, when we began compiling our 92 favorite things to eat and drink; it wraps next Tuesday, day before SF Weekly's epic Best Of San Francisco issue lands in sidewalk boxes all over town. Today, enjoy the best Mexican eats the SFoodie staff has had the pleasure to eat our way through these past four months. Hey Irish guys: ¡Que provecho! That goes for the rest of you, too.     Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
