Just in time for St. Patrick's Day: John Campell's Irish Bakery, the three-year-old Geary Street bakery whose scones SFoodie believes are some of the best things in town to eat, opened a second location in Pacific Heights/Cow Hollow yesterday.

Located on the corner of Fillmore and Filbert, the bakery retains much of the look of the first store and is stocked with all the same goods that have been drawing people to the Outer Richmond: the soda bread with raisins, the mince puffs, the Belfast baps. In a couple of weeks, says Orla Campbell, John's daughters, they'll add a couple of tables inside, and the cafe is applying for outdoor seating.

John Campbell's Irish Bakery, 3130 Fillmore St., 563-1519. Hours: 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. Mon.-Sat., 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Sun.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
