In this week's clipped report: SOMA salivated in vain over the prospect of locally sourced lunch and dinner at Radius (it didn't open today after all). Per Eater, Mastrelli's, bayside cousin to Molinari, served its last Joe's Special this week. And in suh-weet news, the reopening of Bi-Rite Creamery means pastry mavens Kris Hoogerhyde and Anne Walker have more kitchen to stretch out in. But unfortunately, the Straus soft-serve ice cream window has been delayed yet again (glass issues). Revised ETA: Tues., March 9.

Bi-Rite Creamery, 3692 18th St. (at Dolores), 626-5600, unveiled a bigger interior with ― count 'em ― seven more indoor seats (up from three); the sidewalk Straus soft-serve ice cream window should is still a dream (see above)

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
