It debuted just this past December in a cramped Mission District walk-up, but already the SF Underground Farmers' Market has proven a runaway smash. This weekend's next installment is no less than epic, with double the vendors it had last time and a spot with triple the space, all an attempt to avoid the big lines amassed outside at the last two. At present count, there will be nearly 50 different tables to peruse, including hot food from street-food folks Good Foods, Soul Cocina, and Pearl's Kitchen and a vast array of pickles, pastries, preserves, and much more. Organizer Iso Rabins of forageSF will also offer suitably creative hot food with its wild boar belly buns.

We hear that the SF Underground Farmers' Market has even inspired an East Bay copycat, currently under development. An idea this good shouldn't be confined to this side of the bridge. Details for the S.F. event after the jump.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
