Warning: Do not order the house-smoked St. Louis ribs with Texas Jack barbecue sauce and bacon baked beans at Town Hall unless your team manager takes you, ostentatiously whipping out company plastic after the post-butterscotch pudding espressos. Yes, they're tasty: dry-rubbed, hickory-smoked four hours or longer, the sauce heaving under Tabasco's sour incandescence. But the $18 price tag? Your employer totally owes you that. Back in the office, you can wear the shaggy Niman pork fibers in your dental crevices as some kind of proof of your corporate worth. Savor them.
