Is it just us, or are 18 Reasons classes getting more and more epic? In a four-part series beginning March 8, Texas-born wine ace Zach Pace will take eager (and thirsty) students on a musty journey through celebrated winemaking regions. Like a benevolent, bacchanalic Carmen Sandiego, Pace will skip all over the world, from Italy to France to California, and back again ― exploring Pinot's many faces, the Merlot you thought you'd figured out, California's lesser-known varietals, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Buy tickets as soon as possible. Also, find a designated driver for class nights ― or a least someone to help you stay upright on the Muni rides home.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
