Gracias Madre is Now Open ― Unless You Tried to Check it Out Today

Café Gratitude offshoot Gracias Madre is now open for business at 2211 Mission (at 18th St.), but when we tried to check out the vegan glories of its raw-food Mexican menu today, we found a "closed" sign.

A source for the restaurant said Gracias Madre would be open for lunch again starting tomorrow at 11 a.m., with its rather unorthodox enchiladas, chiles rellenos, and tacos.
