HGK is based in the Santa Cruz Mountains and offers home canning
workshops both there and in Oakland all year. The $125 fee includes a five-hour hands-on session, an organic meal made of fresh, local produce, and jars of everything made during class.
The 2010 schedule includes workshops on fermentation, cheese and kefir, pickles, spring berry jams and jellies, and tomatoes in both locations.
