The Castro's seen its share of beer bashes, but today's PBR giveaway at Kasa (4001 18th St. at Noe) comes with more than a cab ride home you can't remember and the day-after taste of regret. Mention you're a Kasa Facebook fan (just so you're not totally lying, go here first), and you'll score a free Pabst till they run out. The upside? While you're there, you can order one of the sharply vivid Indian thalis (our picks: karahi paneer and chicken tikka). The downside? You have to recite this bit of doggerel: Weekdays are a drag...Kasa fans are cool...We're giving away free PBR...Only for Facebook Fans is the rule. Embarrassing, yes. But far less mortifying than the dance moves you busted out at your last Castro beer bash. Kapish?

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
