If Folsom left you with a wicked sunburn and the kind of visual memories that create permanent scars, no doubt you need soothing, and what's more comforting than soup? SF Weekly restaurant critic Meredith Brody suggests today's pepper and heirloom tomato purée and half crostata with grilled pimiento, rosemary, sage, and cotija cheese at Split Pea Seduction, 138 Sixth St. (at Minna), 551-2223. Another advantage? It's close to the fair route, so if, say, you somehow lost your favorite jockstrap or bullwhip yesterday, you won't have far to search.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
