Leather/fetish/kink fans, the annual dinner in your honor at supperclub (657 Harrison at Third St.) goes down tonight. Think formal, fabulous, and food -- a great way to kick off Folsom Street Fair weekend in high style (the main event is this Sunday in SOMA, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. -- SFist has the complete roster of leather-y festivities).

Tonight's three-course meal costs $75 and includes libations, what's being called a "luxurious dinner," and a comedic and musical show by Varla Jean Merman. Doors open at 6 p.m. with drinks at the bar; dinner starts at 7 p.m. promptly. Diners are sternly warned (in an arguably sexy voice) not to be late "even to be fashionable!" Tickets available online. Note that the attire is formal, which covers traditional formal wear, dress leather, and high-fashion kink. Note: Assless chaps are probably too déclassé. And anyway, think of the poor guy who'd have to Febreze supperclub's ample cushions afterwards.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
