Let's do lunch:

Just because it's Monday, that doesn't mean you have to eat like you're depressed. SF Weekly restaurant critic Meredith Brody says treat yourself to batter-fried green beans followed by a smoked trout, cucumber, and breakfast radish salad with horseradish-dill dressing at Coco500 (500 Brannan at Fourth St., 543-2222).

Drink therapy:

You know how much you love a double. Snag a super-dooper at Americano (8 Mission at The Embracadero, 278-3777): an early happy hour (4-6 p.m.), followed by a late-night one (10 p.m.-midnight) -- $3 bottled beers, $5 glasses of wine, and $6 Depression-era cocktail classics.

Get a budget taste of the Abruzzo at tonight's Monday Night Supper prix fixe at Bar Bambino (2931 16th St. at Mission, 701-8466): grilled salt cod, pasta, fish stew, and semolina cake. $35 (red or white wine $10 extra), 5-10 p.m.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
