Let's do lunch:

Mondays call for comfort foods, the edible equivalent of the fetal position. SF Weekly restaurant guru Meredith Brody advises finding security in the spicy mabo ramen and salmon sashimi at Suzu Noodle House (1825 Post at Webster, 346-5083).

Drink therapy:

Dude: You haven't been working out those pecs just to keep them hidden under some Banana dress shirt. Flaunt your investment at Shirts Off Monday (9 p.m.-2 a.m.), and score $2 Rolling Rocks and $3 shots of Goldschlager, Jim Beam, or Cuervo at Cheap Ass happy hour, Chaps Bar (1225 Folsom at Eighth St., 252-5018), 7-9 p.m.

No attainment but in bargain drinking. Taste enlightenment at A to Zen Hour, featuring specially priced noshes and specialty libations, Ponzu (401 Taylor at O'Farrell, 775-7979), 4:30-6:30 p.m. With enough drinks, you just might find yourself meditating on your cocktail napkin.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
