Free Coffee At Harvest & Rowe Cafe

Posted By on Tue, Aug 26, 2008 at 1:01 PM

This deal has been around a while, but it's worth pointing out to all the office drones in the FiDi who are tired of their usual Starbucks fix: Harvest & Rowe Cafe (55 Second St. at Mission) is offering a free cup of their (organic, fair trade) coffee with the purchase of any pastry, among them plenty of vegan offerings. The offer is good Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through the end of August, so hurry up. 415-541-7771.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
