The Big 4's Wild Game Week 2008

It's baaack: Unleash your inner hunter (without the crossbows and the rifles) during Wild Game Week 2008 at Big 4 Restaurant in The Huntington Hotel (1075 California St. at Taylor). The biannual celebration of anything-but-beef-and-chicken runs through this Saturday, May 24, so there's still time to nab a reservation. If not, no worries: it'll be back in November. Among the most interesting-sounding dishes this time around include Mini Grilled Goose Pastrami Slider and Truffled Potato Bisque (House cured goose pastrami on grilled potato bread with aged gouda cheese and spicy red onion marmalade and farmer's market pickles; $16) and Pancetta Crusted Tenderloin of Himalayan Yak "Rossini" (Topped with foie gras and baby Italian mushrooms, caramelized shallots, creamed spinach, and black truffle jus; $46).
