Puffing Stogies With The Suits At Palio D'Asti

Posted By on Wed, May 21, 2008 at 2:41 PM

Word has it that FiDi Italian spot Palio D'Asti (640 Sacramento at Montgomery) of the notorious Tax Relief Special ($1 lunchtime martinis) -- has made it even easier for the midday boozing crowd to find some respite from the rigors of the straight-and-narrow workaday path: cigars! With a tobacco license firmly in place and a nice selection of stogies on hand, you can partake in their "cutting and lighting services" then puff away on the back patio and practice swirling the brandy in your snifter (or bourbon or cognac or grappa).

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
