Unlike any other dining reviews out there, Zagat's trademark regular-joe mini quotes combine to create a sort of review patchwork. The Zagat Buzz blog makes a nice little feature with their "Outtake of the Week" section, where some of the funniest and most scathing snippets see the light of day, and thank god because they're priceless. Sadly, there's no telling which restaurants inspired which zingers. Recent highlights as follows:

"If you have no personality, this is the hangout for you."

"Service with a grudge."

"Primary attraction was the small wildlife wandering across the table."

"The valet stole my cell phone and called Brazil 11 times."

"It has a great reputation among people who don't get out much."

"The waiter took my order, went outside to smoke and then waved through the window."

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
