Let this story be a lesson to all of you holiday travelers carrying booze as gifts or, more likely, as a way to cope with your insane family: pack it in your checked luggage. Rather than hand over a liter of vodka at an airport security check, a 64-year-old apparently insane alcoholic chugged it on the spot and almost died from the resulting alcohol poisoning.
