Winter is coming… to the Oakland Metro Operahouse. This Saturday, Sept. 26, all Game of Thrones fan-girls and -boys should swarm the Metro faster than White Walkers on Hardhome, for the marriage of the Bay Area’s rowdiest variety show, Tourettes Without Regrets, and TV’s best medieval drama. Don’t miss Game of Thrones LIVE - Hodor’s Revenge!

If you have not yet heard about Tourettes Without Regrets then, like John Snow, you know nothing.

Tourettes is the longest running and most outlandish variety show in the Bay Area. Since its inception 15 years ago, it has been more relentless than Cersei Lannister and more persistent than Arya Stark’s thirst for revenge.

Hosted and created by the charismatic Jamie DeWolf, the great grandson of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, he has the King’s Blood to inspire the show's cult-like following that is as strong as the the Faith of the Seven.

This weekend, the cast of Tourettes is taking on the madness of the Seven Kingdoms. There will be burlesque that is sexy and weird enough for a Petyr Baelish brothel, as well as lap dance battles that are part house of pleasure and part Meereen Fighting Pits. In addition, there will be fire performers who can handle flame like a Targaryen, comedy that could rival any Bronn one-liner, and circus carnage more satisfying than the poisoning of a bratty boy-king. And Hodor. Hodor!

It will be a house divided, as the crowd is segregated into Starks and Lannisters and crazed interactive games ensue. They will be as inappropriate as incestuous twins and as competitive as the fight for the Iron Throne itself.

Go nerd out with the best of them; help kill off favorite characters and rewrite the ending of the show yourself. Take that, George R.R. Martin.

In attendance will be a full medieval band, ye olde Dragon Master's Guide to the Mighty Labyrinth Quest! as well as the Western Circle of Sword Fighters. Yes, sword fighters! Actual, trained martial artists, as skilled as the Kingslayer or Brienne of Tarth, will get medieval on Oakland’s ass. This is going to be as hilarious, intense, dangerous, and sexy as a Dothraki wedding.

Expect an event as brilliantly staged as the Red Wedding ... with less killing. There may even be a reenactment. You won’t have your throat slashed, but you will bust a gut.

Tourettes Without Regrets always pays its debts, so expect more fun than Tyrion in a whorehouse and don’t miss this rare event that has already sold out six shows in Vancouver.

Game of Thrones LIVE - Hodor’s Revenge!, Saturday Sept. 26th, Oakland Metro Operahouse, 630 Third Street, Oakland, Doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m., Tickets: $15 advance, $20 at the door.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
