Listen up, San Francisco. It’s time to sit up straight, watch the language and put your best face forward because we’ve got company.

The folks over at finance site WalletHub named San Francisco the fifth best travel destination in America for winter getaways. Sure, it’s a few spots shy of number one but we're still wearing a light jacket while the majority of the country is in a deep freeze. So, we're winning on our book. Let's take a look at the cities that beat us:
New York City is number one? How original! Next time tell us something we don’t already know. For example, Missouri is the number one meth state in America. That’s useful information, right?

Las Vegas is number two? How crude! Have a fun and festive holiday with the kids and in-laws at Thunder From Down Under.

Orlando is number three? Suck a bag full of… well that makes sense actually. It’s hard to compete with the home to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Number four is Southland. Southland? Where's Southland? According to the WalletHub map it's somewhere near Fresno.

In any case, it’s time to be a little less naughty and lot more nice for the sake of these out-of-towners. Any impulse to stab someone or trash a police car should best be left ignored until after the holidays once our guests have made it back home and Instagram’d how lovely our city is. On second thought, let’s leave the madness behind for good. We’d like to host all year long.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
