It's about time — almost 40 years after The Rocky Horror Picture Show hit theaters, MAC Cosmetics has come out with a line of makeup dedicated to this cult favorite.

According to Refinery 29 Frank-N-Furter even gets his own lipstick color, along with other hues of reds with names like Sin, Oblivion, and Strange Journey. Of course the 21-piece line also includes eyeliners, dark eye shadows, blush, contouring colors, mascara and fake lashes; and it hits shelves October 2 (a few days after the movie's 40th anniversary and just in time for Halloween!).

So maybe grab a stick of the Frank-N-Furter and then head to the monthly showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Clay Theatre (2261 Fillmore)  — the last Saturday of every month — and get ready to do the Time Warp again.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
