San Francisco is known for many things: clam chowder, frequent street festivals where everyone gets naked, and of course, the steep hills that have tourists opting to take cabs and locals mapping out alternate routes.

However, one resident isn't avoiding these arduous hills any longer -- in fact, 21-year-old cyclist Josh Diaz seeks them out.

In August 2013, Diaz posted a YouTube video of him biking up the hill at Broderick and Broadway, which, at a 38-percent gradient, is the second steepest hill in San Francisco.
