Yoda and friends might be in a galaxy far, far away but the release date for Star Wars: Episode VII is just around the corner.

Two years to be exact -- and don't worry -- Jar Jar Binks won't be invited to the festivities this time around.

The highly anticipated galactic epic, directed by Sci-Fi reboot master J.J. Abrams, will open in theaters nationwide December 18, 2015.

In the meantime, Abrams has to actually film the thing and fans have to plan their viewing parties. Not one to be left out of the lightsaber fun, Marin County's own and Star Wars godfather, George Lucas, recently released an impressive collection of curated art called Star Wars Art: Concept.

So flip a book, rewind those tapes and patiently await the return of the Skywalker.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
