Casting Call: MTV Seeks Modern Family for New Docu-series

Posted By on Thu, Oct 24, 2013 at 12:46 PM

Does your family put the fun in dysfunction? Perhaps you have three genius siblings and a GILF for a grandma with a tendency to twerk.

If so, this is for you.

MTV is currently on the hunt for a real-life modern family to feature front and center on an upcoming docu-series. The show aims to explore what it means to live in a diverse, multicultural and multigenerational household.

Applicants between the ages of 16 and 25 must convince producers that their camera- ready family represents the new normal. Maybe your brood fits the bill?

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
