RealWorldSF Twitter Helps You Avoid MTV Reality-Show Filming

Posted By on Tue, Aug 27, 2013 at 1:58 PM

Filming is underway on the second Real World: San Francisco season and they've been spotted at Tommy's Joynt and Supperclub, according to tweets on RealWorldSF. So we guess they're not using their 1244 Sutter St. apartment for cooking.

While we're sure some people may want to find themselves in front of the camera, it appears this Twitter feed serves the main purpose of places we should all avoid. Going out to the Mission District Friday night? Best be checking if MTV is too, so you can change your plans accordingly. If you see them, tweet @RealWorldSF to give the rest of us a warning.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
