The Walking Dead, Episode 14: It's Andrea vs. The Governor. Finally!

Tonight's episode of The Walking Dead opens with a heart-warming (we're being sarcastic) camp-out featuring Andrea, Michonne, and their two armless, jawless zombies on chains. Since those pet walkers have been dead for some time, we know this is a flashback to the good ol' pre-Governor days when Andrea and Michonne were a solid unit, out in the wilds together. Andrea asks Michonne where the pet walkers came from. Michonne doesn't want to talk about it but says "They deserved what they got. They weren't human to begin with."

Girls Season Finale: Meltdowns and Misguided Love Everywhere

On last night's season finale of Girls, we saw Adam run half-naked through the streets, onto the subway and all the way to Hannah's house, to scoop up his ex-girlfriend in his arms and emotionally rescue her in her time of OCD-induced need. It is the most romantic thing that's ever happened on Girls -- which is odd timing, given that Adam violated his current girlfriend, Natalia, so horribly during last week's episode.

Historian George Dyson Paddles Us Into a Faster Tomorrow

Scientific historian George Dyson was a boat-builder in Canada in his young adult years, an expert on kayaks. He lived in a house he built high in a Douglas fir and split his time between boats and observing the natural world. He climbed down from his tree-house after coming to a realization about the similarities between technology and living things. The patterns he saw in nature have their parallels in the technological world, and he was drawn to explore those emerging environments in the same way he was drawn to explore the wilds of British Columbia.

    Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
