I was initially drawn to her by her trendy chartreuse pants and tangerine nails. We're going to be seeing a lot more of both colors this spring -- Pantone named tangerine the color of the year, and Oscar de la Renta showed pants and dresses in that same yellow-green shade at New York Fashion Week last year. Chartreuse is a daunting color to wear, but it shouldn't be. It's surprisingly flattering on a range of skin tones, and you can take your styling cue from this woman: Just dress it down and you'll be fine.

However, I didn't even notice my favorite part of her outfit until I was editing the photo. Her mix of patterns is fabulous; see if you can spot the stripes, houndstooth, and leopard print below.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
