We've sent photographer Gil Riego Jr. to see what he could see at Comic-Con, the mass gathering of nerds, geeks, gamers, fanboys, otaku, and every other kind of pop culture obsessive. Braving lines that stretched into hours and crowds of men wearing T-shirts that could best be described as XXL, Riego sent us these shots.

See his pictures from Comic-Con Day 1 here, and his pictures from Comic-Con Day 2 here.

Connor Strone from Clovis found a way to make a profit out of waiting in Comic-Con's endless lines: Sell his spot for a panel four hours later.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
