A professional motorcycle road race is about the last place in the world you'd expect to find a literary reading. But that's what Ed Milich does. He did it at Daytona in 2010, and he did it at Willow Springs Raceway in Southern California (where he also took first- and second-place trophies in the Corsa Moto Classica) over Easter weekend. In a society increasingly run by specialists, Milich is a generalist -- one of the rare individuals who works intellect, athleticism, and blue-collar know-how into his life. The motorcycle mechanic, racer, and writer will be at Werkstatt on Saturday night for an event connected to his second book, Fueled.
