Comedian Dave Chappelle is scheduled to perform two previously unannounced shows Thursday at Cobb's Comedy Club in San Francisco, a spokeswoman for the club says.

The shows are scheduled for 8 and 10:30 p.m., according to Alicia Albarran. The $55 tickets will be available this afternoon via the LiveNation website, Albarran wrote in an e-mail.

Chappelle played an impromptu show with Lauryn Hill last night at The New Parish in Oakland, as covered by Ian S. Port on our sister blog, All Shook Down.

That post captured various exchanges between a rowdy audience and Chappelle. Port reported an audience member mentioning Birkenstocks at one point, and Chappelle replied, "You must be from Berkeley ... Berkeley, the dirty feet capital of North America."

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
