Run for San Francisco Mayor. Seriously. YOU Do It. I Would but I'd Get in Trouble

Do we hate Mayor Lee yet?

Well in 6 months or so we are gonna be voting for a new mayor. Again, there is no left candidate. I was the best you had 4 years ago and I'm never allowed to run for office again or I'm going to go to jail. So who will you vote for? Anyone of the gaggle of moderates that are really conservatives in moderate clothing?

I believe President Chew is a liar. A big, fat liar. Sen Yee is creepy to me. I think Dufty is in bed with the nightmare at our Park and Rex. Michealla Aliota Peir might actually be related to enough people to win an election just within her family. But who else? Where is the right guy? Girl? Where is our Kennedy? Matt Gonzolez? Tom Ammiano? Jesus, it's the same names from 4 years ago. 8 years ago. These well connected names just keep coming back like cold sores.

What to do?

Well, I've got an idea. Why don't one of you just change your name legally to Gavin Newsome. Pull the paperwork, it costs around $5k. Then you'll be mayor. Done. Because as stupid as you might think this idea is, it will work. It's all you have to do. People are that stupid. You don't want to admit it, but you know I'm right. I dare someone to do it. I'll run your campaign. Someone step forward, I did it last time.

You might think I'm kidding, but this is really all it takes to do something like this. A spark. You have to change the way you think. This isn't a Showman's trick, this is actual meaningful change. But how? How to change the way you think? Is that even possible?
