The words "user-generated content" usually mean you're about to encounter one of two things: an irritating Super Bowl commercial made by 16-year-olds, or another dramatic chipmunk. Still, people love this stuff. So it's no surprise that video-game developers are catering…

Steven Spielberg goes direct-to-video-game with Boom Blox for the Wii.

Sometimes it's the terrible ideas — say, a TV show about nothing, or stirring corn into your mashed potatoes — that turn out to be genius. Super Smash Bros. landed on the Nintendo 64 nearly 10 years ago, kicking off…

Dante’s Inferno Rages on in Devil May Cry 4 for Xbox 360, PS3

Let's just get it out right now: "Devil May Cry" is a weak-ass name for a wicked action game. But what's in a name? In three previous outings, the brutal, hella-challenging series has consistently delivered some of the greatest hack-and-slash…

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday.
