San Francisco Man Murdered in Antioch

Authorities are working this morning to identify the 30-year-old San Francisco man who was gunned down in a East Contra Costa County neighborhood early Sunday morning. 

According to press reports, the victim was at a home on the 200 block of Lawton Street in Antioch at about 2:23 a.m. when he was shot multiple times. Police were called to the scene and found the victim "incapacitated," the Contra Costa Times reports. 

The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Coroners Office is scheduled to perform an autopsy on the man later this morning. The victim will be identified at that time.
