San Francisco's "Hot Cop" Chris Kohrs has finally decided to give his Castro fans a show, albeit it's probably not exactly the kind of show they've been hoping for.

It does, however, include ice, a gay bar, and based on this accompanying image, his bare chest.

Next Monday, San Francisco's most wanted cop will be at the Cafe to take on the Ice Bucket Challenge, raising awareness for ALS while also raising money for families of officers who've been killed while in the line of duty.

Kohrs became a local celebrity this summer when he was given the moniker "Hot Cop of the Castro" by oversexed denizens of the neighborhoods he patrols. And thanks to Facebook and local media, Kohrs' good looks and defined six-pack became hard news overnight.

But his path to fame has taken a more productive turn compared to Jeremy Meeks' — NorCal's hottest felon who now has an action figure doll and possibly a reality TV show contract. The San Francisco Police Officers Association has nominated Kohrs for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, a campaign raising awareness for ALS that's gone viral on social media (just log onto any of your accounts and you will see what we're talking about).

For this event, everyone will receive a raffle ticket at the door for a chance to pour a bucket of ice on the Hot Castro Cop. However, the POA is asking you to make a larger donation to the Officer's Memorial Fund for good reason: the top three contributors will be granted a very rare and special chance to "help Chris prepare" for the freeze.

Afterward, everyone will have the chance to meet Kohrs and gawk some more.

Here are the details for the desiring minds out there:

Monday, August 18th

And yes, we'll post video/images of the Hot Cop cooling off at the Castro.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
