San Francisco police say they've caught the man who has been randomly igniting fires around the SoMa neighborhood the last week.

Last night, police arrested 47-year-old Anthony Bejarano on the 200 block of Harrison Street. He was booked into San Francisco County Jail and charged with six felony counts of arson, including setting fire to an inhabited structure.

Bejarano is accused of starting at least four fires in SoMa, most of which included newspaper racks and garbage. No word on what his motive might be.

From SFPD:

We would like to express our heart-felt thank you to the public and the media for its rapid response to our request for help in identifying this suspect. The tips we received resulted in the arrest of a dangerous arsonist believed to be responsible for fires set inside of an occupied building last week. The arrest came the very next day after the Department released the suspect's photo to the public.

More details and a booking photo are coming -- stand by.
