San Francisco police have nabbed four men who they say were carrying a cache of weapons as they walked through the South of Market neighborhood earlier this week.
According to police, officers were called to the 900 block of Market Street on May 4 at about 7:30 p.m. about a group of armed men. When police arrived, the suspects immediately bolted, resisting police orders to drop their weapons, says Officer Albie Esparza.
Police chased the men who ran in different directions near Hallidie Plaza. Eventually, all four were found by police and arrested. Police also recovered three fire arms belonging to the suspects.
The suspects, all between the ages of 21 and 28, were identified as Orlando Ware, Paul Antoine, Marvin Session and Lendale Warren. They were all charged with weapons violations and resisting arrest. Warren was also charged with forgery and felony burglary.
