It was a hot night in more ways than one.

Police reported a pair of shootings and a stabbing yesterday and into the wee hours this morning, sending a trio of San Franciscans to the emergency room.

At around 10:15 Wednesday night, police arrived on the 100 block of McAllister Street, where they found a man with a stab wound in his neck. He was yesterday described as being in "critical but stable condition."

Not long thereafter, at 10:40 p.m., police responded to a shooting at Kirkwood and Dormitory. A man "suffering from multiple gunshot wounds" was transported to San Francisco General Hospital. Per the police, "a crime scene has been established and officers have located evidence of a shooting" -- evidence, it would seem, beyond a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Any suspects are still at large and the SFPD is eliciting informational calls.

Finally, a SWAT team was deployed following a shooting at Alemany and Farragut at around 3:10 this morning. A man with a gunshot wound to his leg is being treated at San Francisco General; his survival is anticipated. Police arrested a suspect in that shooting after surrounding a parked Recreational Vehicle in the Outer Mission

The San Francisco Medical Examiner moments ago told SF Weekly that all of last night's victims are still among the living.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
