Did You See This Fatal Pedestrian Collision?

Posted By on Fri, Feb 7, 2014 at 4:52 PM

Earlier this week, 78-year-old Isaak Berenzon was killed after a car struck him as he walked along Sunset Boulevard. Police arrested 72-year-old Jenny Ching on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter.

But they are still building their case.

Today, police are asking any witnesses to the accident to come forward now.

According to police, on Feb. 4, at 11 a.m., Berenzon was at the crosswalk at Sunset Boulevard and Yorba Avenue when a red car traveling south on Sunset Boulevard collided with him. Berenzon died at the scene.

Investigators are seeking additional witnesses to the incident; if you saw what happened, contact SFPD anonymously at (415) 575-4444 or Text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the beginning.
